Mane Contract Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer – MV Specialist to lead the design and delivery of medium‑voltage power systems for data centres and mission‑critical projects across Ireland and international sites.

You will own MV engineering packages from concept through procurement, installation, testing and handover, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and global stakeholders to ensure compliant, buildable designs.

Qualificações

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering.
• Strong experience in MV electrical design and power system engineering.
• Proven delivery experience on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or other mission-critical projects.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software such as ETAP, PSCAD, DIgSILENT or CDEGS.
• Strong technical knowledge of protection coordination, short-circuit analysis, earthing, arc flash and power quality.
• Experience with MV switchgear, transformers, protection systems and cable infrastructure.
• Understanding of IEC/IEEE standards and electrical design best practices.
• Excellent technical communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to lead technical reviews and coordinate effectively across multiple engineering disciplines.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate MV switchgear, transformers, protection relays, cables and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Ensure designs comply with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards and applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with construction, BIM, procurement and commissioning teams to ensure designs are coordinated and buildable.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot complex engineering issues and manage specialist vendors.
• Support engineering standards, continuous improvement and the development of junior engineers.

Are you a senior electrical engineer with specialist expertise in medium-voltage (MV) power systems?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer – MV Specialist to lead the design and technical delivery of complex power distribution systems across major data centre, industrial and mission-critical projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of MV engineering packages from concept design through procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, while working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams and international project stakeholders.
