Based in Athlone, this key role leads electrical design on high-profile projects across data centres, healthcare, commercial and energy sectors.

Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years’ experience required to join a leading international M&E engineering consultancy, with offices acrossIreland, the UK and Europe.Based in Athlone,this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to take on a senior position, working on high-profile projects across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design across major projects from concept through to completion.
• Manage project delivery, including timelines, quality and technical output.
• Oversee electrical calculations, specifications and technical reviews.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams throughout project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers and technicians.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ professional experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within an M&E or building services consultancy.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards Chartership.
• Proven experience leading projects and managing client relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
