SSA Consulting Group in Dublin seeks a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our M&E design team. You will deliver electrical designs across the full project lifecycle for building projects in residential, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

The role involves preparing schematic and layout drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, conducting site surveys, and contributing to cost estimates, technical reports, and contract documentation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Prepare schematic and coordinated layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD and Revit for 3D modelling.
• Prepare schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications.
• Carry out site surveys and inspections.

My client is a well-established and highly respected M&E Design Consultancy currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer to gain hands‑on experience in design, technical coordination, and project delivery within a collaborative and professional environment.

The successful candidate will join a busy team involved in the design, project management, and construction supervision of a wide variety of building projects across the residential, healthcare, commercial, and other sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver detailed electrical designs throughout the full project lifecycle
• Prepare schematic and coordinated layout drawings using 2D AutoCAD and/or Revit for 3D modelling
• Prepare schedules, data sheets, and technical specifications
• Carry out site surveys and inspections
• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and technical reports
• Support the preparation of contract documentation
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Provide general project support as required

Requirements

• Relevant third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
