Job summary

Guidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Vertage Group Portfolio are seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead multidisciplinary design projects for water and wastewater infrastructure across Ireland. Hybrid permanent role based in Kilkenny.

You will oversee concept to delivery phases, design electrical schemes, prepare submissions, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with clients and suppliers to ensure conformance with Irish and European standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in water/wastewater treatment projects.
• Liaise with ESB and clients on electrical design matters.
• Ability to design and develop electrical panels and control philosophies.
• Prepare electrical technical designs and submissions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multidisciplinary design projects from concept to delivery.
• Prepare Electrical Design submissions and drawings.
• Develop electrical panels (MCC, LCP, MDB) and network architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and liaise with suppliers.
