Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Ireland seeks a Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to lead complex EIARs from strategy through to planning. You will mentor the Environmental Team, coordinate multi-disciplinary specialists, and act as a trusted adviser to clients, regulators and stakeholders.

In this role you will manage budgets, oversee quality assurance, drive winning proposals, and contribute to the growth of AtkinsRéalis' environmental practice across Ireland and beyond, while

Qualifications

• EIAR and non-statutory reports experience in consultancy.
• Experience in major infrastructure projects (road/rail/energy/water).
• Knowledge of EU and national planning and environmental law.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of EIARs and environmental assessments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
• Manage large EIARs including governance and budgets.
• Mentor and develop Environmental Team staff.
• Maintain client relationships and oversee project delivery.
• Support winning proposals and tenders.
