Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Cork, Ireland, is seeking a Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAR) Consultant to lead the Environment Team. You will steer complex EIARs for nationally significant projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients and regulators.

The role offers strategic influence, mentorship, and opportunities to shape Ireland's infrastructure and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating EIARs and environmental reports for major infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets.
• Strong client liaison and regulatory engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of EIARs and environmental assessment programmes.
• Coordinate with project managers, planners, engineers and 3rd party consultants.
• Mentor and develop staff within the Environmental Team.
• Prepare Marine Area Consents for estuarine/marine projects.
• Demonstrate project governance, financial management and quality assurance.
