Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant to join the Environment Team in Dublin or Galway. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver EIARs, drive project governance, and act as a trusted advisor to clients, regulators, and stakeholders, shaping nationally significant infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing and coordinating EIARs for major/infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of EU and national environmental legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of EIARs and environmental assessment programmes.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including third-party specialists.
• Mentor and develop Environmental Team members.
• Manage client liaison, finances, and programme delivery.
• Support business growth through proposals and tenders.
