LSC, Life Science Consultants is seeking an EHS Specialist to join a leading pharmaceutical site in Cork on a 12-month contract. The role focuses on environmental management, regulatory compliance, and site abatement systems.

You will report to the EHS Manager and drive incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvements. Ideal candidates hold a relevant Environmental/Science/Engineering degree with 5+ years in pharma/biotech, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven ability to work

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in pharma/biotech or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of environmental laws and EHS standards.
• Experience with EPA and local regulatory authorities.
• ISO14001/ISO45001 experience is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead Environmental programmes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage Environmental matters related to IE Licence and monitoring.
• Serve as primary site contact for EPA.
• Maintain 100% site compliance with Environmental and Dangerous Goods laws.
• Prepare EHS reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee site abatement systems and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Lead audits and programme reviews for permits and policies.
• Implement EH&S training and update policies as required.
• Support site culture of EH&S and sustainability.
