Suir Engineering invites applications for a Senior EHS Officer to join a Data Center project in Blanchardstown, Dublin. The role is on site and permanent/full-time, with a focus on health, safety, and environmental compliance across the project team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1: ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Construction Team on Integrated Management System.
• Ensure the site has a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become a SME in Suir’s High Risk Activities and ensure control on site.
• Assist with Risk Assessments & Method Statements.
• Develop SOPs and provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Promote the Suir Way and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Report and investigate incidents; identify root causes and communicate corrective actions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior EHS Officer to join Suir Engineering Ltd. This position will be on a Data Center project in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

What you will be doing?

• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’
• Work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System
• Ensure the site is adequately set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir’s Hight Risk Activities (HRA’s) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
• Assist with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements
• Assist with the development of SOP’s and provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.

Is this the job for me?

• Suitable Candidates must have Relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree and Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
