Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead the EP&R project in Ennis. You will oversee end-to-end construction, coordinate design interfaces, and maintain client and stakeholder relationships from project start to handover.

The role requires proven project management experience, staff development, and experience with High Voltage projects and BIM-enabled environments. We offer opportunities for international assignments and a supportive, wellbeing-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification through Apprenticeship
• Experience in managing a project from scoping through to delivery
• Proven experience in managing, coordinating and developing staff
• Experience in High Voltage projects
• Awareness of BIM technologies

• H&S qualification such as IOHS Managing Safely

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
• Coordinate design works and interfaces with third-party stakeholders
• Maintain excellent working relationships with Client from start to handover; act as ambassador
• Chair handover of project from estimating to construction
• Staffing and recruitment planning for project staff and operatives
• Ensure site quality audits as per design plan
• Hold weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors covering safety and training
• Maintain relationships with client from project start to completion

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Project Manager to join Suir Engineering Ltd. The position will be based on EP&R project in Ennis.

What you will be doing?

• Oversee Construction Projects from beginning to end.
• Co-ordination of all design works & Interfaces with all third party stakeholders
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with Client form project start to handover; acting as ambassador with Clients and all other stakeholders.
• Arrange and chair handover of project from estimating department to construction team.
• Liaise with Project Director and Operations Director in staffing of project and agree on a recruitment plan for staff and operatives particular to your staff.
• Ensure audits are carried out by the person responsible on site for Quality Control in accordance with the design plan (if applicable).
• Hold weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors and ensure that safety and training are discussed.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start up to project completion,

Is this the job for me?

• Trade qualification through Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification.
• Demonstrate appropriate knowledge and experience for work undertaken under NERS scheme (additional training provided).
• Relevant H&S qualification, i.e. IOHS Managing Safely or similar.
• Proven experience in managing a project from scoping out project(s)' requirements and resources in line with strategic company objectives to the completion and delivery of the project.
• Proven experience in managing, coordinating, and developing staff.
• Experience in supporting a continuous improvement culture amongst the project team.
• Experience in High Voltage projects
• Awareness of BIM technologies where relevant.
• Awareness of Engineering processes and best practice.
