Job summary

Greyhound Recycling is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to own the environmental, health and safety performance across our operations and lead the team that keeps people safe and our licence to operate secure.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will drive EPA Waste Licence compliance, manage the health and safety system, and oversee fire safety, incident investigations and contractor safety, while building a strong safety culture across our transport, MRF and site operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading EHS/HSEQ in waste/recycling/manufacturing/logistics sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation and EPA licensing.
• Experience leading incident investigations and root-cause analysis at a senior level.
• Proven track record developing and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Greyhound's environmental, health and safety function across sites and operations.
• Own EPA Waste Licence compliance, environmental monitoring and reporting.
• Manage the health & safety management system in line with statutory requirements.
• Oversee fire safety strategy and compliance across facilities.
• Develop and mentor Safety & Compliance teams, drive incident investigations and inspections.
• Coordinate with regulators (HSA, EPA) as Greyhound's lead contact for inspections.
