Job summary

MH Engineering is seeking an EHS Manager to lead environmental, health and safety across construction activities. You will report to senior leadership and drive the development and continuous improvement of EHS policies, systems and practices to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in OSH or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' EHS management experience.
• Travel across Ireland and Europe as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of environmental, health and safety strategies across construction activities.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Safety Management Systems in line with legal and company requirements.
• Undertake periodic site visits across Ireland and Europe to support project teams, conduct EHS audits and inspections.
• Provide expert guidance and coaching to senior management and project teams on EHS matters.
• Monitor EHS performance through metrics and KPIs, driving improvement initiatives and best practice.
• Lead investigations, corrective actions and reporting relating to EHS incidents, audits and inspections.
• Coordinate EHS training programmes to meet regulatory requirements and improve workforce awareness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support EHS objectives.
• Mentor and support EHS Advisors, promoting professional development and high performance.
• Support the company's strategic growth plans through proactive EHS planning and leadership.
