Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Building Services Business Unit EHS Lead to provide Environmental, Health & Safety leadership across our Building Services operations. You will drive consistent EHS standards across a portfolio of complex mechanical and electrical construction projects.

This senior role focuses on compliance, operational alignment, safety culture, risk management and continuous improvement, reporting to the Business Unit Director of Operations with escalation to the Group

Qualifications

• 5+ years' EHS leadership experience in construction, engineering, M&E or building services environments.
• Recognised third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Accreditations such as IOSH or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership and support across the Building Services project portfolio.
• Coordinate project-based EHS professionals across the Business Unit.
• Ensure EHS requirements are embedded within operational delivery.
• Develop and improve EHS management systems, policies and programmes.
