Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for the Process Division in Ireland. You will lead a team of EHS Advisors, drive proactive safety culture, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects and sites.

You will collaborate with senior operations teams, develop divisional EHS strategies, and monitor performance through dashboards and KPIs, delivering improvements and reporting to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Relevant third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Professional EHS qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH Chartered Membership (Level 7) or equivalent is desirable.
• Membership of a recognised professional body such as IOSH, IIRSM, or equivalent is preferred.
• Environmental qualification or experience in environmental management systems would be advantageous.
• Additional training in incident investigation, auditing, process safety, confined spaces, lifting operations, or behavioural safety would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EHS function across the Process Division, ensuring alignment with company-wide EHS strategy, objectives, and performance targets.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 24 EHS Advisors, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, performance expectations, and professional development plans.
• Provide visible leadership across projects and operational sites, promoting a positive and proactive safety culture.
• Support senior management in embedding EHS considerations into operational planning, project delivery, and decision-making.
• Develop and implement divisional EHS improvement plans, initiatives, campaigns, and behavioural safety programmes.
