Johnson Controls Systems & Service Ltd - HVAC Ireland is seeking a Project EHS Advisor to guide Environmental, Health and Safety matters for project teams and stakeholders in ROI. You will support the EHS management system and drive best practices across planned and live projects.

This role reports to the UK&I EHS Manager and requires active involvement in risk assessment, audits, data reporting, and strong collaboration with clients, contractors and regulators to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• IOSH membership or CM IOSH preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years EHS experience on large projects.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Full driving license and Safe Pass required.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS advice to project management teams and stakeholders.
• Support implementation of the EHS management system on projects.
• Present EHS data to clients and project leaders on a regular basis.
• Assess and control project risks and close gaps for compliance.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors and reps.
• Promote a positive EHS culture on projects and drive improvements.
• Monitor legal compliance and follow up on weaknesses.
• Draft and communicate project EHS plans and controls.
• Lead internal audits and manage external/self-audits actions.
• Liaise with enforcing authorities as needed and manage investigations.
