Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Energy & Industrial Business Unit EHS Lead to provide Environmental, Health & Safety leadership across our Energy & Industrial operations. Working with Unit leadership, you will drive consistent EHS standards across a portfolio of complex energy, industrial, engineering and M&E projects.

This senior role focuses on operational safety, regulatory compliance, risk management, safety culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years' EHS leadership experience in construction, engineering or energy sectors.
Third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety.
IOSH or equivalent EHS accreditation.
Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Responsibilities

Provide EHS leadership across a portfolio of complex energy, industrial and M&E projects.
Coordinate and support project-based EHS professionals across the Business Unit.
Ensure EHS requirements are integrated into project delivery and planning.
Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Develop and review RAMS, risk assessments, SOPs and EHS documentation.
Represent Designer Group with clients, regulators and stakeholders.
Monitor EHS performance and drive continuous improvement across projects.
