Job summary

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Quality Manager to lead quality performance across the Energy & Industrial Business Unit. You will drive quality standards, reduce defects, support project teams, and ensure mechanical installations meet client and Designer Group requirements.

This senior role collaborates with BU leadership, project managers, construction, engineering and QA/QC teams, and requires regular travel across project locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Mechanical QA/QC and quality management within energy/industrial projects.
• Proven ability to develop and implement Quality Plans and ITPs.
• Strong track record in NCR, defect management and corrective actions.
• Experience with mechanical completion, testing, commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Energy & Industrial QA/QC strategy across multiple projects.
• Support project teams with QA/QC execution and document control.
• Ensure mechanical quality standards and inspections are met.
• Monitor audits, inspections, KPIs and project reviews.
• Coach QA leads, engineers and inspectors.
