Dr. Ekler & Associates Human Resources Development Consultants Ltd. is recruiting a Senior EHS Manager to lead health, safety and environmental performance across major construction projects in Ireland.

The role collaborates with senior leadership, project teams and EHS professionals to embed proactive safety culture and robust management systems. You will oversee audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and KPI analysis, mentor EHS staff, and drive continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Approximately 5-8 years' senior EHS experience within construction.
• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety at NFQ Level 7 or above, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Irish construction health and safety legislation.
• Experience with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Strong capability in auditing, risk assessment, incident investigation and corrective actions.
• Experience across multiple construction projects and subcontractor operations.
• Leadership and communication skills to influence people from site teams to senior management.
• Main contractor experience would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing senior EHS leadership across multiple construction projects
• Supporting and developing robust EHS management systems and procedures
• Maintaining compliance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 requirements
• Advising project teams on Irish health, safety and environmental legislation
• Leading audits, inspections, risk management and performance reviews
• Supporting incident investigations and ensuring lessons learned are implemented
• Monitoring subcontractor performance and driving continuous improvement
• Analysing EHS performance data, KPIs and trends for senior management
• Delivering training and supporting ongoing EHS development
• Mentoring and developing EHS professionals across the business
• Helping embed health, safety and environmental considerations throughout project delivery
