Job summary

SK9 Human Capital is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Manager to lead the organisation’s EHS strategy across construction, manufacturing and engineering operations in Dublin. The role combines strategic leadership with practical, site-based implementation to strengthen safety culture and regulatory compliance.

You will own the group-wide EHS function, working with directors, project teams and site personnel to embed robust, practical systems across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Occupational Health & Safety at tertiary level.
• 8+ years in a senior Health & Safety or EHS managerial role.
• Experience developing and implementing an EHS strategy across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continually improve the group’s EHS strategy, policies and objectives.
• Establish consistent health, safety and environmental standards across operations.
• Lead development of best-practice EHS management systems and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and industry standards.
• Provide expert advice to senior management and project teams.
• Monitor EHS performance through audits, inspections and KPIs.
• Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Identify risks and implement controls across sites and facilities.
• Deliver EHS training, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives.
• Prepare EHS reports for senior leadership and liaise with external bodies.
