Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced Project EHS Advisor to provide expert guidance on Environmental, Health and Safety matters across projects within ROI. You will support the EHS management system, promote best practices, and collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

You will assess risks, develop plans, lead audits, and drive a positive EHS culture while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Clear communication across levels and written communication.
• Strong presentation skills for internal and external parties.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• IOSH certification at least CMIOSH preferred.
• Degree or equivalent in Environmental, Health and Safety.
• 3–5 years EHS experience on large/complex projects.
• Good understanding of Irish Safety legislation and regulations.
• Experience implementing EHS Management Systems.
• Full driving license.
• Active Safe Pass Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Advise project teams on Environmental, Health and Safety matters.
• Support implementation of the EHS management system across projects.
• Assess and control project risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Draft and communicate EHS plans and procedures.
• Conduct internal/external audits and close actions with project teams.
• Maintain relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Promote a strong EHS culture on sites and monitor compliance.
• Liaise with authorities when needed and participate in compliance forums.
