Job summary

ACCPRO is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor to join our Dublin construction team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation, with emphasis on MEP works and PSCS responsibilities.

The position is based in Dublin and requires a Full Clean Driver's Licence. The successful candidate will lead EHS practices on site, coordinating RAMS, inductions, audits, and regulatory liaison.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an EHS role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience working on MEP heavy construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of PSCS duties and Irish construction safety regulations.
  • Relevant EHS qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or equivalent).
  • Excellent knowledge of RAMS.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the site EHS management system.
  • Ensure full compliance with current health & safety legislation and company policies.
  • Assist and support the PSCS in fulfilling statutory duties on site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, particularly across MEP activities.
  • Identify hazards and ensure appropriate control measures are implemented.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance with site safety requirements.
  • Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reports, and records.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a positive safety culture across all site personnel.
  • Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies as required.
