Job summary

Realtime Recruitment in Dublin is seeking a Senior EDW Architect to lead design, governance and migration initiatives for enterprise data warehouses in a financial services context. The role requires deep Teradata expertise, data modelling skills and strong regulatory knowledge.

You will partner with risk/compliance teams and data engineering to deliver scalable, compliant solutions across on-premise and modern cloud platforms, while mentoring junior staff and guiding architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data architecture/engineering experience.
• Hands-on Teradata experience including data modelling and workload management.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in banking/finance.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and migration from Teradata.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve enterprise data warehouse architecture ensuring scalability and regulatory alignment.
• Lead Teradata platform architecture including data modelling and performance tuning.
• Define data architecture standards and governance across the EDW estate.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers and participate in architecture review boards.
