Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Architecture experience.
• Hands-on Teradata experience in enterprise data warehouse.
• Excellent SQL and data troubleshooting.
• Experience with Teradata FS-DM or equivalent model.
• Strong understanding of EDW, data marts and integration.
• Experience in banking/financial services data environments.
• Knowledge of BCBS 239, RDARR and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or DataStage.
• Knowledge of metadata-driven ingestion and data delivery frameworks.
• Knowledge of batch scheduling technologies such as Control-M.
• Strong governance and stakeholder communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and support data architecture design for enterprise data warehouse delivery.
• Analyse source data, data flows, business requirements and downstream consumption needs.
• Perform hands-on SQL investigation, technical analysis and solution validation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, testers, delivery leads and fellow architects.
• Evaluate design options and recommend pragmatic, scalable and standards-aligned solutions.
• Produce architecture documentation including High Level Designs, Architecture Design Decisions and design rationale.
• Present architecture proposals to governance and architecture forums.
• Embed data governance, metadata, lineage, controls and auditability into solution design.
