Alter Domus in Ireland is seeking a senior data security professional to lead DSPM and DLP initiatives, reporting to the Global Head of Security. You will classify sensitive data, assess risks, and implement policies across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes data protection compliance (GDPR/DORA), collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and developing dashboards and security reports using Excel and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Several years of hands-on experience working with DLP and DSPM technologies in an information security role.
• Experience with DSPM platforms (e.g., Wiz, Prisma Cloud, BigID).
• Proficiency with enterprise DLP solutions (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with SIEM tools for security event analysis.
• Understanding of data encryption, access controls, and network protocols.
• Strong analytical abilities with data analysis/analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Discover and classify sensitive data across data stores and cloud services.
• Assess data risk based on sensitivity, location, and access.
• Monitor data environments for vulnerabilities and non-compliant handling.
• Enforce least privilege by managing data access entitlements.
• Remediate data risks by adjusting permissions and encrypting assets.
• Develop, configure, and maintain DLP policies across channels.
