Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a senior data security professional to join the Data Security team in Cork, Ireland. You will lead DSPM and DLP initiatives, classify sensitive data, and shape policies to protect data across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

You will collaborate with incident response, stakeholders, and data owners, tune DLP rules, and deliver audit-ready reports while staying compliant with GDPR and related standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information security or related field.
• Hands-on experience with DLP and DSPM technologies in information security roles.
• Experience with DSPM platforms such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, BigID.
• Experience with enterprise DLP solutions like Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint.
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure.
• Experience with SIEM tools.
• Understanding of data encryption, access controls, and network protocols.
• Strong analytical abilities and security reporting experience.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ are valued.

Responsibilities

• Discover and classify sensitive data across databases, SaaS, and cloud storage.
• Assess data risk based on sensitivity, location, and access.
• Monitor for vulnerabilities and non-compliant data handling.
• Develop and tune DLP policies across email, web, endpoints, and cloud.
• Collaborate with incident response for data security incidents.
