Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Senior Director, Business Technology Strategy to align divisional technology needs with eight Digital Core Platforms and digital standards. You will lead Director-level Technical Specialists and ensure programs reinforce enterprise platform strategy, delivering reusable capabilities at global scale.

You will partner with senior business and Digital leaders to set divisional technology direction, resolve cross‑division trade-offs, and drive governance, security, and reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field; 12+ years in technology strategy or large-scale programs.
• Experience aligning business needs with enterprise platforms and standards.
• Proven ability to lead senior technical talent and partner with C-suite or senior Digital leaders.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, digital standards, cloud platforms, data/integration, security, and governance.
• Ability to chair/lead architecture boards and drive governance for a global enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between business divisions and Digital, aligning technology direction with platform adoption.
• Ensure divisional programs reuse shared capabilities and adhere to enterprise standards.
• Lead, develop, and align a team of Director-level Technical Specialists.
• Chair or co-lead Architecture Review Board activities and ensure sound technical decisions.
