Job summary

AMD in Ireland seeks a Staff Design Verification Engineer to join the Analog and Digital-RF team. You will design verification plans for complex RF/SoC designs, build robust SystemVerilog/UVM environments, and write advanced testbenches to validate functionality and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in semiconductor verification.
• Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Experience with verification tools like VCS, Questa, and Synopsys tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification plans for complex semiconductor designs.
• Design and implement verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Write and debug SystemVerilog and UVM-based testbenches to verify design functionality.
• Develop coverage-driven verification strategies for comprehensive validation.
• Collaborate with design teams to understand specifications and identify improvements.
• Analyze and debug failures to root cause using simulation and debug tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and validation of designs.
• Drive continuous improvement in verification methodologies and AI initiatives.
