AMD in Cork, Ireland is seeking an experienced CPU Verification Engineer to lead functional verification for high-speed microprocessor designs. You will develop environments and test plans for full-chip and block-level verification, and implement x86 assembly directed tests to validate functionality and testability of the processor.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Functional verification of high-speed Microprocessor designs.
• Develop environments, infrastructure, and test plans for chip and block-level verification.
• Develop, run and debug x86 assembly based directed tests and random exercisers.
• Drive project deliverables with cross-discipline RTL, DFT and Implementation teams.
• Review functional and code coverage metrics and adjust tests to meet coverage.
