Job summary

Aon Ireland is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join the Defined Benefit team. The role blends technical DB administration with client-facing collaboration, ensuring accurate delivery of services and high-quality member communications.

You will support trustees, scheme administrators and clients, driving process improvements while mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to a wider Wealth team culture focused on quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Defined Benefit pensions, including scheme benefits and administration.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• High attention to detail and thorough validation of work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured way.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key operational contact for clients and Trustees on DB administration matters.
• Engage with Scheme Administrators, Consultants, clients and members to ensure service excellence.
• Provide clear summaries and practical solutions to support clients and internal stakeholders.
