Job summary

Aon Ireland is seeking a Senior Pensions Administrator to join its Defined Benefit team in a client-facing, hybrid role based in Dublin or Cork. You will act as the primary operational and technical contact for DB pension administration, supporting clients, Trustees, members and internal teams with clear communication and rigorous delivery.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of Defined Benefit pensions, including scheme benefits and administration.
• Strong written and oral communication, able to explain complex concepts clearly.
• High attention to detail with structured, organized work habits.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients, Trustees and third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key operational contact for DB administration matters with clients and Trustees.
• Engage with Scheme Administrators, Consultants, clients and members to ensure service excellence.
• Identify, investigate and explain benefit, data or process queries for informed decision making.
• Draft clear client-facing communications and support member understanding of benefits.
• Contribute to meeting packs and update partners on member experience and performance.
• Support and mentor junior team members and align work with cross-team priorities.
