Job summary

Abbott Sligo is expanding its Digital, Data & AI team and seeking a Senior Data Scientist/Engineer to lead advanced analytics initiatives at Abbott Diabetes Care. You will work at the intersection of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, data and AI to drive measurable business value.

You will partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities, design scalable analytics, develop ML models, and help establish SOPs and end-to-end data processes that support Abbott's Data, AI & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Analytics & AI Strategy – identify, prioritise, and deliver analytics initiatives.
• Data Science & Advanced Analytics – design, develop, deploy ML models and analytics solutions.
• Business Partnership & Value Realisation – collaborate with leaders to translate insights into actions.
• Define analytical approaches and success metrics aligned with business outcomes.
• Support industrialisation and deployment of analytics with Data Engineering teams.
