Job summary

Keyrock is building a modern data platform to empower its AI agents and business functions with real‑time insights. The Central Data Team is expanding to grab data from across the company, enabling trading desks, asset management, product, risk, finance, compliance, and research to act fast within agreed boundaries.

You’ll help design streaming and lakehouse architectures, own data contracts, and ship self‑serve data tooling while ensuring observability and cost awareness from day one.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of building production data systems that other people rely on.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL: not just writing a query, but able to reason about what the engine is doing.
• Code that's easy for someone else to read, test, and delete later.
• Strong understanding of data modelling for both streaming and analytical workloads.
• Efficiency, quality, idempotency, and observability are taken seriously by default.

Responsibilities

• Build streaming and batch pipelines ingesting, normalising, and distributing market and portfolio data.
• Develop self-serve tooling (SDKs, patterns, templates, AI agents) for data products.
• Own data contracts and schema evolution to minimise cross-team coordination.
• Design the lakehouse and time-series layer around query patterns.
• Build Data Governance and Data Quality Framework: stale-feed detection, validation, lineage, and self-healing.
• Create derived analytics for desks, wealth, and asset management.
• Prioritise observability, cost, and performance from day one.
• Treat infrastructure as code (Docker, Terraform, CI/CD) with Central Infrastructure.
• Collaborate openly with Architecture, Infrastructure, Platform, and teams.
