Job summary

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering for the Options team to lead the Options Engineering group and drive the evolution of our Rust-native systematic options trading platform. You will own architecture, performance, risk controls, and production reliability across trading infrastructure, working with traders, quants, product, and risk teams.

The role is predominantly remote with hubs worldwide; candidates in European time zones or US East Coast time are preferred to support global coverage.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making or low-latency trading systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust.
• Experience with automated quoting, execution, pricing, risk controls, and data workflows.
• Experience building or maintaining low-latency trading systems in options/derivatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team (~7 engineers).
• Own and evolve a Rust-native systematic options trading platform.
• Provide technical direction across trading infrastructure, system design, performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, product, risk and infra stakeholders.
• Balance technical leadership with delivery ownership and operational discipline.
