Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost consultancy across Europe, from concept design to construction completion, with responsibility for estimates, procurement advice, and post‑contract administration.

You will lead client accounts, review contracts, manage change orders, and mentor junior cost consultants while partnering with hyperscale, colocation, and mission-critical clients across multiple locations—driving value and project success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years experience in cost consultancy or quantity surveying.
• MRICS or AssocRICS or working towards chartered status.
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, procurement, tendering, and Irish contracts.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and prepare cost estimates across design and construction stages.
• Provide procurement advice, tender analysis, and recommendation reports.
• Lead and manage client accounts, including meetings and strategic input.
• Review contracts and participate in contract negotiations.
• Evaluate change orders and contractor pricing throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver cost management services including value engineering and cashflow forecasting.
• Mentor junior cost consultants and support business development.

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management

5+ years cost consultancy experience

MRICS / AssocRICS or working towards

Knowledge of Irish standard forms / contract types
