Job summary

Dublin Bus is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in its Fleet Electrification Programme, using data, insight and modelling to help shape the future of public transport.

You will analyse operational data, develop KPIs and dashboards for leadership, build scenario and financial models, and map data flows while collaborating with programme teams and external stakeholders to translate data into actionable insight.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior data analyst role.
• Strong SQL skills with Power BI and DAX.
• Experience with data warehouses, ETL, data governance and data quality.
• Experience in transport, logistics or operational environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Analyse vehicle, charger, telematics, operational and scheduling data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, reports and data visualisations for programme and business leadership.
• Build scenario, capacity and financial models to test assumptions and assess potential outcomes.
• Map and manage current and future data flows, databases and data interfaces.
• Provide analytical insights to support business cases, project benefits and operational improvements.

Dublin Bus is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in its Fleet Electrification Programme — using data, insight and modelling to help shape the future of public transport.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse vehicle, charger, telematics, operational and scheduling data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.


• Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, reports and data visualisations for programme and business leadership.


• Build scenario, capacity and financial models to test assumptions and assess potential outcomes.


• Map and manage current and future data flows, databases and data interfaces.


• Provide analytical insights to support business cases, project benefits and operational improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ experience in a senior data analyst role, including KPI development and complex data analysis.


• Strong SQL skills and experience with Power BI and DAX; Tableau/QlikView experience is also valuable.


• Knowledge of data warehouses, ETL, data governance and data quality.


• Experience with statistical analysis, scenario modelling and data visualisation.


• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables and macros.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience in transport, logistics or operational environments would be an advantage.
