Job summary

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a leading organisation on a 12-month contract based in Cork.

This role would suit a data-focused professional with strong experience in data analysis, data quality, reporting and reconciliation, combined with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse, validate and reconcile complex datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness.


• Perform data quality checks and investigate discrepancies or inconsistencies.


• Work with data from multiple source systems, including Excel, Power BI/Tableau and SAP.


• Support reporting, governance, compliance and audit-related activities.


• Investigate data and process issues, identifying root causes and driving appropriate resolution.


• Manage and respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders.


• Collaborate with cross-functional and multicultural teams to resolve data-related issues.


• Support end-to-end operational processes, from data collection and validation through to reporting and issue resolution.


• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the optimisation of existing processes.


• Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting agreed deadlines and SLAs.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in data analysis and data quality management.


• Strong ability to interpret, validate and reconcile complex datasets.


• Advanced Excel skills, with experience using Power BI, Tableau, SAP or similar systems.


• Experience working with large or complex datasets from multiple source systems.


• Understanding of compliance, governance, controls or audit processes.


• Experience with finance, accounting or reconciliation processes would be advantageous.


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
