Job summary

Kenton Black is seeking a Senior CSA Project Manager to lead delivery of Civil, Structural & Architectural packages on major Irish construction projects. The role requires mobility across Ireland and potential international travel, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience as Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in data centres, mission-critical, pharmaceutical or other technically complex environments is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and client relationships.
• Strong understanding of project controls, sequencing and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for delivery of CSA packages from pre-construction to completion.
• Lead and manage project teams to deliver safely, on programme, within budget and quality.
• Manage CSA subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist contractors.
• Coordinate with MEP, engineering, commercial and construction teams for seamless delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes with milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues and delays.
• Maintain client and stakeholder communications with regular updates.
• Review drawings, specs, and construction methodologies.
• Oversee integration of civil, structural and architectural elements with other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, change control and interfaces.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate actions across stakeholders.
• Support development of construction methodologies, sequencing and delivery strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Project Engineers and Site Managers.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior CSA Project Manager to join a leading engineering and construction business based in County Kildare delivering major projects across Ireland, with an expanding international portfolio.

This is a senior project leadership position, responsible for the successful delivery of complex Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) packages across large-scale construction projects. The role will suit an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable operating in fast-paced, technically demanding environments and working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.

Projects will be based across Ireland, so mobility is essential, with the potential for international travel as the business continues to grow its European and international project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the delivery of CSA packages from pre-construction through to completion.
• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Manage CSA subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist contractors.
• Coordinate closely with the wider MEP, engineering, commercial and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
• Monitor project progress and proactively identify and manage risks, issues and potential delays.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, providing regular project updates and maintaining strong communication throughout delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications, construction methodologies and technical submissions.
• Oversee the coordination and integration of civil, structural and architectural elements with other project disciplines.
• Ensure all works comply with relevant health & safety, quality, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, change control and commercial interfaces.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate actions across internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the development of construction methodologies, sequencing and delivery strategies.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to Project Engineers, Site Managers and other members of the project team.

The Ideal Candidate

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience working as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience within data centres, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing or other technically complex environments would be advantageous.
• Proven experience managing major projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, sequencing, subcontractor management and project controls.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of contracts, variations and project change.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Full flexibility to work across projects throughout Ireland is essential.
• Willingness and ability to undertake international travel when required.
