Job summary

Cumming Group Ireland Ltd is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our Dublin team. You will be part of a team delivering commercial management for major infrastructure projects across Ireland, supporting the NEC4 Project Manager, and guiding a high-performing commercial management team.

This hybrid role offers flexibility to work from home and in our Dublin office, with opportunities to lead bids, manage budgets, and mentor junior staff while ensuring QA, H&S, and governance procedures are

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of commercial management experience on infrastructure projects.
• At least 5 years on high-value road and/or infrastructure projects.
• MRICS (or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support bid and tender preparation and contribute to business development activities.
• Oversee day-to-day project delivery and operate autonomously where required.
• Monitor project budgets and resource utilisation.
• Ensure effective change control processes are applied.
• Deliver cost management outputs to a high quality, on time and within budget.
• Prepare budget estimates, cost plans, tender documents, and client reports.
• Provide procurement and contract advice.
• Administer contracts, including valuations, forecasting, reporting, and attending project meetings.
• Support the implementation of strategic initiatives across service lines.
• Mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to staff development.
• Ensure compliance with internal QA, H&S, and client governance procedures.
• Engage in networking and client relationship development.
