Job summary

TCC Recruitment's client, a Building & Civil Engineering Contractor in Ireland, is seeking a Contracts/Project Manager to own delivery from handover to completion. This hands-on leadership role focuses on keeping projects on programme, on budget, and meeting the highest standards of quality and safety.

You will manage contract and programme, lead design team meetings, liaise with clients and subcontractors, oversee HS&E and ISO quality compliance, and drive post-contract handovers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Irish construction experience.
• Working knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and associated regulations.
• Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations.
• Proven experience managing contracts, programmes and subcontractors on building or civil projects.
• Strong leadership and communication with clients, design teams and site staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own the Site Quality Plan and project programme.
• Support and monitor the Site Manager to deliver the Quality Plan.
• Maintain site documentation: progress reports, programmes, RFIs and CVIs.
• Chair site meetings, ensure minutes are accurate and actions followed.
• Notify design teams and subcontractors of project delays in writing.
• Lead subcontractor meetings from appointment to completion and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate labour resourcing across sites.
• Oversee procurement and reconciliation of materials and subcontractors to avoid delays.
• Chair post‑contract handover meetings and ensure procedures are followed.
