Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. seeks a Contracts Manager for structural steel projects in Monaghan, Ireland. You will manage site teams, subcontractors, programmes, quality, safety and commercial performance from start to finish.

The role focuses on delivering industrial and commercial projects safely, on time and within budget, coordinating with clients, site teams and senior management to maintain robust commercial controls.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' site experience within structural steel
• Experience in contracts management, ideally with a steel fabricator
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and erection
• Experience managing steel erectors, foremen and subcontractors
• Experience across industrial and commercial projects
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO 50001 would be advantageous
• Understanding CE Marking / Execution Class requirements
• Competent Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising site foremen, steel erectors and subcontractors
• Selecting and managing subcontractors and monitoring their performance
• Overseeing site progress to ensure projects stay on programme
• Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety
• Keeping senior management updated on progress and commercial issues
• Managing variations and additions in line with contract requirements
• Supporting the preparation of project final accounts
• Attending regular site and project meetings
• Ensuring accurate project documentation and records
