Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor & Estimator to join a specialist structural steel business. You will handle estimating and commercial management across tendering, cost control and final accounts on large projects in Ireland.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in main contracting, 3+ years in QS and estimating, and strong MS Office skills. The role covers tender through final account with multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience with a main contractor.
• At least 3 years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• 3+ years' estimating experience.
• Experience on structural steel contracts.
• Strong IT and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tender documentation, measurements and estimates.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and requirements to establish accurate costs.
• Preparing and submitting tender returns.
• Taking responsibility for cost control across live contracts.
• Preparing monthly valuations and cost reports.
• Managing final accounts and variations, subcontractor liabilities.
