Job summary

Veeam seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to support our global sales organisation, providing pragmatic legal guidance on commercial contracts, privacy, and regulatory risk within a fast-paced software environment.

You will build trusted relationships with Sales, Deal Desk and Revenue Operations, lead negotiations for SaaS, BaaS, professional services, and channel agreements, and help improve templates and processes for the team.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 10+ years post-qualification experience in a leading firm or in-house.
• Strong commercial contracts background in software, SaaS, or cloud tech.
• Excellent drafting, review and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead review, drafting and negotiation of SaaS, BaaS, software, services, and NDAs.
• Provide practical legal advice to Sales and business stakeholders on risk and compliance.
• Develop and improve contract templates and negotiation playbooks.
• Collaborate with Legal team to promote best practices and processes.
