Job summary

EXL is seeking an Assistant General Counsel – Technology Transactions in Dublin to lead complex technology, vendor, cloud, data, SaaS and software licensing negotiations across the enterprise. You will advise senior leaders on contractual, legal, commercial, policy and reputational risks while enabling practical business outcomes.

The role requires deep experience with sophisticated commercial agreements, strong judgment, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced global

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in general corporate, technology, SaaS and software licensing matters.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and listening skills to convey complex issues to senior executives.
Ability to work with limited supervision and strong project management.
Experience with complex software licenses, MSAs, and other vendor agreements.

Responsibilities

Provide legal counsel on governance, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Identify legal risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Assist in managing litigation and disputes.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
