Job summary

Coopero Ltd. in Ireland seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead projects from planning through to completion, ensuring safety, schedule, budget and quality while maintaining strong client relationships and delivering value.

You will manage a team of project managers, coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and main contractors, oversee change control, risk management and reporting to clients and fund monitors, and drive continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction.
• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related PM discipline.
• Chartered (or on Pathway to) with the RIAI, RICS, CIOB, IE, APM or other equivalent institution.
• Highly motivated with a strong evolving industry network.
• Able to provide advice to Clients in a transparent and honest manner.
• Maintain total integrity in the delivery of the Senior Project Manager role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Remain calm and professional under pressure from Clients.
• Knowledge of common contract forms and standard industry practices.
• Strong working knowledge of project management software and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of projects from planning and design through to successful completion, commissioning and DLP.
• Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Lead procurement and manage multidisciplinary design teams.
• Collaborate with design teams and main contractors on planning and design.
• Manage financial reporting to Clients and fund monitors.
• Ensure compliance with codes, standards and health & safety regulations.
• Act as primary client contact and manage client satisfaction.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of the Project Managers and ensure proper PM practices.
• Provide technical and contractual support to Project Managers.
• Coordinate project interfaces across lifecycle stages.
• Manage all aspects of project change control.
• Complete monthly client and fund monitor reports.
• Maintain and update the project risk register.
