Job summary

NBC Global Finance Limited – Dublin is seeking a Compliance Testing Manager to lead independent testing activities, assess controls, and report findings to senior stakeholders. The role sits in the Compliance Testing function, a second line of defence that supports regulatory governance.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in testing and assurance within financial services, with strong analytical skills and experience in MIFIR/EMIR/SFTR reporting. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years in Compliance Testing, Internal Audit or similar.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and control testing processes.
• Experience in second/third line reviews or consultancy is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional qualification such as CIA, CISA or CPA is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing activities as an independent second-line assessment of compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of processes, controls, and governance; identify non-compliance and risks.
• Prepare draft reports for business lines and senior management detailing scope, findings, and remediation.
• Produce Management Information and reporting on testing outcomes and trends.
• Assist in developing and maintaining Compliance Testing Plans and methodologies.
• Identify improvements to testing frameworks and annual refresh of key documents.
• Contribute to risk assessment processes and align testing plans with risk profile.
• Maintain issue tracking, escalation, validation, and follow-up for remediation actions.
• Experience with Regulatory Reporting – Prudential and Transaction Reporting (MIFIR, EMIR, SFTR) and interactions with CBI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure testing priorities align with organizational objectives.
