Job summary

John Mansell Recruitment is seeking an ambitious insurance professional to join a dynamic Commercial Insurance team in Ireland. You will build and convert a strong sales pipeline, target new corporate clients, and work with Account Directors to win and onboard new business.

Key duties include identifying opportunities across sectors, delivering tailored proposals, managing the new business pipeline from prospecting to deal closure, and ensuring compliant processes while meeting revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum CIP Qualification (or working toward completion).
• Proven success in new business development or sales within the commercial insurance sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target, and secure new commercial insurance opportunities across a range of industry sectors.
• Develop and manage a robust new business pipeline, from initial prospecting through to negotiation and successful deal closure.
• Conduct client needs assessments and design tailored insurance solutions in line with company standards.
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with Account Directors and insurer partners to structure competitive and comprehensive insurance programmes.
• Ensure all sales processes and documentation comply with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Achieve and exceed individual new business revenue and activity targets.
