Job summary

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation united by a mission to bring new medicines and treatments to patients faster. We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Excellence Training Specialist to design, deliver and continuously evolve ICON’s commercial training and capability programs, spanning bid defense, onboarding and ongoing coaching.

The role collaborates with Business Development, Clinical Operations and senior leadership to maintain best-practice

Qualifications

Significant experience in Commercial Excellence or related functions.
Experience designing and delivering training for cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
Experience implementing standardized methodologies and improvement initiatives.
Strong understanding of the clinical research CRO business development lifecycle.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain end-to-end methodologies for priority commercial capability programs.
Establish adaptable frameworks for strategy, preparation, delivery, and evaluation across multiple training initiatives.
Develop playbooks, resources, tools, templates for reuse across initiatives.
Partner with commercial and operational leaders to align methodologies with client expectations and evolving priorities.
Drive adoption of best practice across business units, therapeutic areas and regions.
