Job summary

DOCOsoft is seeking a Senior Software Developer (CMS) to drive features on a mature ASP.NET platform used across insurance markets. You will design, implement, and maintain complex modules with emphasis on correctness, security, and scalability.

Join a cross-functional agile team delivering secure applications on on-premises and Azure, mentor peers, and contribute to architecture using SOLID, CQRS, and domain-driven design.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development delivering production systems.
• Strong C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 6+) experience in commercial environments.
• Deep understanding of OO design, clean architecture, SOLID, CQRS, and DDD concepts.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Web API and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise, including performance tuning.
• Experience with distributed or microservices-based systems.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, Moq) and TDD.
• Git-based development and collaborative code reviews.
• Agile/Scrum team delivery; IAM concepts and cloud deployments (Azure/AWS).
• Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (Vue/React/Angular).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex features within a large .NET app and services.
• Produce robust, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with architecture.
• Contribute to architectural decisions using SOLID, CQRS, and DDD.
• Lead by example in engineering quality including unit testing and code reviews.
• Optimize SQL Server data structures, queries, and performance-critical components.
• Diagnose and resolve defects, including production issues with RCA.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Data stakeholders to deliver secure solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.
• Improve development standards, tooling, and practices.
