Job summary

DOCOsoft is seeking an experienced software architect to guide a team in delivering scalable solutions for London and global insurance markets. You will own the full software development lifecycle from analysis to maintenance and mentor the team to maintain high standards.

You will drive architectural decisions, champion best practices (TDD, DDD, SOLID), and ensure timely delivery while aligning with DOCOsoft's culture. Strong Azure/AWS experience and enterprise-grade skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with complex projects.
• Experience building enterprise apps using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, Entity Framework and SQL.
• Advanced proficiency with development tools and practices: Microsoft Developer tools, IIS, RedGate, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable architecture design.
• Demonstrated leadership in team management, stakeholder relationships, and driving technical consensus.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building enterprise applications using technologies such as .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, REST APIs, Entity Framework, and SQL
• Advanced proficiency in development tools and practices: Microsoft Developer tools, IIS, RedGate, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable architecture design
• Demonstrated leadership ability in team management, stakeholder relationships, and driving technical consensus
• Experience working in an agile team developing highly available, highly scalable, secure applications on Azure or AWS utilizing both IaaS and PaaS
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
