Job summary

Medtronic Ireland in Galway invites applications for a Senior Software Cloud Engineer in the CRM Software group. You will develop cloud-based software for implantable cardiac devices, collaborating across teams to create scalable, reliable solutions.

The role requires 7+ years of experience, strong C#/.NET, Java, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and REST API expertise. A salary range of 65,600–98,400 EUR is offered with a flexible benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum NFQ level 8 Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/ Engineering or technically related.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in AWS technologies, including S3.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with .NET (EF Core) and C#.
• Proficiency in Java and REST APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high integrity software for medical devices.
• Learn and apply software standards for medical devices.
• Define technical product requirements and high-level architecture.
• Build and test applications in a Global Cloud Infrastructure environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in reviews.
• Lead scrum ceremonies and manage backlogs.
• Contribute to architecture and development of CRM software solutions.
